8 Months Old

Climbing, Forrest Family, Natalie

8 Months, plus a few days. Natalie continues to grow and thrive and keep us on our toes. April has come and gone in a whirl with lots of changes and new things in the Forrest household. First things first though, some photos.

April started with a trip to Michigan to see the Lupo side of the family for the first time since Natalie was born. Everyone was thrilled to see her finally after a long wait. It took some time for Natalie to warm up to all of the people, but once she got used to it, she seemed to really enjoy seeing all of the stuff that was going on around her. Natalie was a great traveler, with a little bit of fussiness and crying on the plane, but once she settled in she did pretty good. We were thankful that the flight was only 90 minutes from takeoff to touchdown as then kept things easy. We stayed with Marissa’s dad, and Natalie ended up having a great time with her Papa and the dogs.

Once we were back, Marissa had to start going back to work and Natalie had to start daycare. Thankfully that all went pretty well. She seems to love daycare, and everyone there loves her. She has a great time eating and sleeping with the occasional art project thrown in.
